Meet the Mauney Family

We are a family of seven, with five biological children. Some of our children are grown, but the two youngest are still being homeschooled. As a family, we have had a heart to adopt children for at least the last ten years. We have had many obstacles to overcome, but God has given us the strength to persevere. We prayed for quite some time to find an agency that was a Christian ministry with a true heart for adoption and that was very responsive to the needs of adoptive parents. We were thrilled when God answered our prayers and led us to Addy's Hope Adoption Ministry. We learned about Dianah and Thaddaeus on October 27 and accepted their referral on October 29, 2007. On November 19, 2007 our dossier was sent to Liberia. Right now we are waiting on our Court Decree. We look forward to the day we can bring them home to join our family.

Meet Dianah and Thaddaeus

Dianah and Thaddaeus are a beautiful brother and sister living in the Greater Love Children's Home in Liberia. They have lived in the orphanage for a while, and were just recently relinquished by their parents for adoption in October 2007. Because of the extreme poverty in Liberia, many parents choose to give up their children for adoption when they can no longer afford to care for them. We are very grateful for the decision their birthparents have made to give them a chance at a better life. We believe God has brought these children to us.
